Super Bowl XLVI will be the 46th Super Bowl. It takes place on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana at 6:25 PM EST. The AFC will be represented by the winner of the AFC Championship Game (the New England Patriots or the Baltimore Ravens). The NFC will be represented by the winner of the NFC Championship Game (the New York Giants or San Francisco 49ers). Both games will be competed on January 22 to determine each conference's representative in the Super Bowl.
The game will be televised nationally by NBC. It will also be streamed online, both to computers (via NBC.com) and mobile devices (via Verizon Wireless's NFL Mobile app), the first legal online streaming of a Super Bowl telecast in the USA.
